P432
According to Frankism, most people are not real human beings and only those with a spark of light matter.
What Jiang said
“they can do this to people because most people are not real human beings... You're only human if a spark of light is in you, right? If you're not a spark of light, who cares what what I do?”
Analysis
Jiang explains that Frankists believe only those with a divine spark are truly human, justifying elite treatment of others as mere husks.
